The Best Years of Our Lives, 1946

First viewing.

Bette Davis said this is the best movie ever made. I don’t know when she said that. It has all the good actors, characters, situations, dialogue, everything that makes a good movie, so I can see it. But I found it a bit wet.

I wonder where she kept the rest of her shoes. Oh, right, wartime scarcity.
